CLASSICAL REALISM PROGRAMS
Instructors Trained at the Florence Academy of Art

T
he Neoteric Renaissance School of Art was established for the study and application of the methods and values of traditional realism in figure drawing, figure sculpture, and painting. Artists Lisa Silas and Matthew Riggs share age-old knowledge acquired at the Florence Academy of Art. Our atelier is in The Tannery Art Center, Santa Cruz, California, where today's artists study techniques of the old masters to create a new renaissance.

We offer a FULL TIME PROGRAM in Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. Each student earns a three year certificate in drawing and their chosen medium. Classes start in September and end in June. During July, summer intensive workshops are held. Summer break is the month of August.

ALSO offered is PART TIME studies in drawing, painting, and sculpture. During every trimester a workshop is offered.
